The resource I consider best for information about women's health is from Dr. Christiane Northrup, MD.  (www.drnorthrup.com) She write eloquently and extensively about the physiology of a woman's body. In addition to her medical knowledge, her descriptions of intuitive and emotional responses to out hormones were revelations to me. This website isn't a reference for your health questions. Instead, it provides information that might inspire you to delve deeper and research for support that serves your individual interests and needs.

My interest in natural health has been growing ever since I realized that the current way of health is not about being healthy but about treating disease and injury. There are definite times when America medicine is the way to go, but I am an outspoken advocate for people to take personal responsibility for their own health.

Being responsible for your own health requires some study and, most likely, some life style changes.

The main aspects of wellness include:

  • Good nutrition
  • Appropriate exercise
  • Low stress
  • Positive life outlook
  • Avoidance of your personal physical stressors

When you need medical care, don't hesitate to seek it. At the same time, don't accept treatment without first evaluating the consequences.

One of the best resources I know for identifying the underlying meaning of symptoms is Louise Hays book: Heal Your Body. When you use your own wisdom and intuition, you can make many discoveries about what your body is telling you.
